More than 15 minutes of fame?

I just checked the counter for my article Snappy Comebacks to Rude Breastfeeding Remarks over at Type-A Mom. It's up to 2,046.

Dang!

I wonder about all those people who have clicked that link. Did they like the article? Did they think it was lame? (Am I lame for using the word lame?) Were they irritated? Enraptured? Did they maybe click on that link, meaning to click on the one above or below it?

It's kind of weird to think that the ripples of my snarkiness are working their way outward. Gee, I always fantasized about people reading something I'd written (aside from toxic material manuals, policies, procedures, and standards). This is both wonderful and weird.

Now all I need to do is come up with another post that'll get people clicking and reading. Hmm. After 30+ articles about breastfeeding, coming up with a unique slant on the topic is proving to be a weekly challenge. But I'm just the woman for the job!

  1. I loved the article! Much like the "Bitter Homeschooler's Wish List" at Secular Homeschooling Maga zines website. Funny funny funny! Things you might not actually say to someone, but the thought of it certainly does feel good! LOL! It's great to see breastfeeding long term is being done more!

  2. You are just the _nicest_ person to 1) actually read my article and 2) leave a comment. My goal over at Type-A Mom is to try to spread a little sunshine ... well, maybe not that, exactly. I'd like people to treat each other with a bit more empathy, kindness, and respect. As if a mom doesn't already have her hands full dealing with a baby -- no need to judge her for nursing ... or for not nursing. Must check out the "Bitter Homeschooler" article!
